Red Tent Women’s Circles

red tent womens circle

In the heart and womb of every woman rests a quiet longing to sit with her sisters, bare her heart and speak out loud her stories and her wounds. A safe space to take off the mask and show her true self, connecting deeply with other women – sharing her vulnerability, her joys, her fears and her greatest dreams.

A Red Tent Women’s Circle is a safe space to do just this. A place for support, empowerment, rest, reflection and lifting women’s voices up.

In early cultures women met in circle to celebrate womanhood and menstruation, and it is from these traditions that the Red Tent Women’s Circle community draws from.

The name comes from Anita Diamant’s bestselling novel The Red Tent, and these circles take place in countries all over the world.

Each Red Tent Women’s Circle is unique, but all share this in common

  • A longing for belonging and connection
  • A safe space for sharing
  • The nourishment of self and others
  • A place to rest, slow down and replenish
  • Reclaiming our birth right of sisterhood and trust

Planetary Midwives for The World We Want

Red Tent Women's Circle

A Red Tent Women’s Circle weaves together the voices and experiences of many women to create healing for women as a whole.

Our own healing journey allows us to not only heal ourselves, but also that of our ancestral lineage and our subsequent generations.

When women come together authentically, magic happens!

For our world to heal, each woman needs to rediscover her unique light and broadcast it out into the world. We are guiding each other home Sister.

Womb Wisdom

As women, our first true power source has always been with the Divine Feminine. We were born with a natural portal to connection, growth and enlightenment, but throughout history patriarchy has worked hard to suppress and even severe this connection.

How do we restore it? We pay heed to the wisdom that is encoded within our bodies – our womb and menstrual cycle.

When we start to re-connect with our womb and consciously engage with our menstrual cycle, we not only begin to clear out trauma, but we also open our hearts and minds to the wisdom of our bodies and the Divine.
