In the heart and womb of every woman rests a quiet longing to sit with her sisters, bare her heart and speak out loud her stories and her wounds. A safe space to take off the mask and show her true self, connecting deeply with other women – sharing her vulnerability, her joys, her fears and her greatest dreams.
A Red Tent Women’s Circle is a safe space to do just this. A place for support, empowerment, rest, reflection and lifting women’s voices up.
In early cultures women met in circle to celebrate womanhood and menstruation, and it is from these traditions that the Red Tent Women’s Circle community draws from.
The name comes from Anita Diamant’s bestselling novel The Red Tent, and these circles take place in countries all over the world.
Each Red Tent Women’s Circle is unique, but all share this in common
- A longing for belonging and connection
- A safe space for sharing
- The nourishment of self and others
- A place to rest, slow down and replenish
- Reclaiming our birth right of sisterhood and trust
